Company Worldwide Express, a full service transportation company, is looking to staff a V.P. of Operations position reporting directly to the CEO of the company. Role Through an energetic, aggressive and constructive style, the V.P. of Operations provides the leadership and vision necessary to ensure the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, technology optimization and people systems in place to effectively quadruple the size of our $25m/75 person organization. Primary Responsibilities ? Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the adopted objectives of the company. ? Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our 10 offices throughout the U.S.A.. ? Act as lead "client-care officer" working with customer service, collections, account managers and sales to exceed the expectations of our customers. ? Tying sales, account managers, customer service, sales support and collections together as one unit working as effectively and efficiently as possible. ? Teach and manage the technology and technology objectives to the various human resource groups in the company. ? Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company. ? Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company. Qualifications Must have M.B.A. and 1-5 years of experience.
