Office Assistant 1

The School of Social Work at The University at Buffalo is seeking an Office Assistant 1 to assist in the management of the School’s main office. Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting callers, visitors, faculty, staff and students as needed
• Creates and oversees the main office budget which includes purchasing supplies and food orders
• Provides administrative support for the appointment process of adjunct faculty and volunteers appointments
• Provides administrative support to various school personnel which include Vice Dean; IT Director; Sr. Project Manager and Assistant to the Dean
• Project management/coordination with respect to school’s policy manual which includes creating and updating the handbook
• Hires and supervises work study/student assistants
• Receives, logs and distributes payroll checks
• Completes the physical asset inventory for the school
