Regional Admissions Recruiter

["During peak recruitment periods, the advisor will participate in extensive recruitment within identified regions within their assigned territory to represent the university and its programs at events, including high school and college visits, college fairs, visits to schools and community-based organizations, receptions, interviews, information sessions, and group presentations to include evenings, weekends. H/she will actively manage their assigned territories and will assist in data analysis to measure effectiveness. The individual will build and cultivate key relationships and partnerships with constituents, such as; secondary school communities, community-based organizations, alumni, and professional organizations. The advisor will travel to campus to participate in all large on-campus recruitment and yield events.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the counselor will be part of the multicultural team and will support the University’s mission of building an academically excellent and diverse educational community. H/she will assist with coordination of efforts focused on multicultural recruitment activity and assist with the design and implementation of focused efforts to yield multicultural students. \r\nThis regional advisor would work from a home office or another designated location when not recruiting, must be self-motivated and results oriented. H/she will travel to campus 4-8 times a year for on campus events, staff training and meetings. Extensive US travel to recruit students via attendance at organized recruitment events or visits to schools, including evenings, weekends and some overnight travel. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate their ability to meet the transportation needs for this position.", "Assist throughout the admissions cycle with making phone calls, sending emails, in person consultations and group presentations at designated locations these activities may require evening and weekend participation.", "The individual will assist with all phases of application processing.
