Assistant Director of Enrollment Communications

  • Contribute to the development and execution of ad hoc email and text messaging campaigns, both in content development, message set-up, and recipient list creation and execution. This will involve creating and planning event and deadline communications, such as emails, text messages and print pieces.
  • Coordinate admission communication activities with the Associate Director of Admission Operations and the Assistant Director of Admission Recruitment, including oversight of ongoing and ad hoc mailings/emails, phone calling campaigns, and the development of online recruitment platforms and tools. 
  • In close collaboration with the Assistant Dean and Associate Director of Admission Operations, participate in the continued implementation process and maintenance of all ongoing communications within the Slate admissions platform.
  • Refine and maintain comprehensive, segmented communication plans for the Office of Graduate Admission.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Admission Recruitment to develop and maintain content on recruitment materials and publications, including support of events through multi-channel communication strategies.
  • Update content on admission webpages to ensure information is always current. Work collaboratively with GSE Marketing staff to determine distribution of updates.
  • Utilize social media in collaboration with the Director of Content and the marketing and communications team for both recruitment and yield strategies. Coordinate content development and engagement strategies on our social network for accepted students, and ways to utilize social media for engagement with inquiry and prospective student populations.

  • Work in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Recruitment to promote upcoming information sessions, virtual events, and other event opportunities. 
  • Create content for and manage GSE’s LinkedIn group for accepted students, GSE Connect. 
  • Participate in occasional on-campus, online and off-campus recruitment events, which may require work outside of regular business hours. Some travel may be required.

  • Collaborate with the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management and Assistant Dean for Marketing and Communications to explore and implement enrollment marketing strategies, such as Ebook content and paid digital marketing initiatives. 
  • In collaboration with the Assistant Dean, develop KPI’s, baseline success metrics, monitor progress, report results, and use data for trends and analyses.
  • In collaboration with Assistant Dean for Marketing & Communications and Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management, assist with exploration of new marketing avenues for GSE programs. This could include sitting in on vendor presentations, exploring new third-party tactics, or preparing briefs for consideration of new initiatives

  • Serve as a team member with Assistant Director of Recruitment to help answer emails received via the Office of Graduate Admission inquiry email account to ensure all inquiries are answered quickly or routed forward as appropriate.
  • Develop and execute email campaigns to promote GSE undergraduate course offerings. In collaboration with the Assistant Dean, develop a communication plan for continuing student registration and related information.
  • Conduct occasional informational meetings, group information sessions, and student advisement sessions for individuals interested in GSE graduate programs. 
  • Assist with supervision of Graduate Assistants and Office Assistants, particularly in the absence of the Associate Director of Admission Operations.
